William Shelby Seitz 
- Born in Bloomdale, Wood Co, OH. His father was a jeweler and watch maker.
His uncles had been to Texas and his father felt that he needed to move to Texas.
William liked the idea because the cold weather in Ohio was hard on him. They
traveled by train through St. Louis, MO and down to San Antonio, TX with everything they
owned. They then took a wagon out Southwest to Anchorage, TX. When William was
17, they moved to the homeplace south of Texarkana, AR. William taught school one
year in Mena, AR. He worked as a bookkeeper for the Texarkana Railroad YMCA where he
met Mr. A. S. Laird. Mr. Laird introduced Will to Leola Elizabeth Lenox. They
were married at Hardy Memorial Methodist Church in Texarkana, TX. They had five
children: Shelby Lee, James Milford, Betsy Jane, John Olice, and Ethel Mae.
Will and Leola are buried at Chapelwood Memorial Park, Nash, Bowie Co, TX.

John Otis
- Born in Bloomdale, Wood Co, OH. John was never married. Lived on a
farm south of Texarkana, TX. Served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II.
Raised a truck garden and sold vegetables, watermelons and cantaloupe, until his
death. He always had a flower garden in front of his house. Died in Veterans
Hospital, Shreveport, LA. Buried in Rondo Cemetery, near Texarkana, AR.
Lydia Mae
- Born in Bloomdale, Wood Co, OH. Married Oscar Arles Gill. They had
three children, Arles, Jr., Foye and Bobby Ray. They lived on College Hill in
Texarkana, AR.
Ruth Marie
- Born in Bloomdale, Wood Co, OH. Lived on a farm until brother John was
drafted into the U.S. Army Air Corps. She worked at the Defense plant (Red River
Army Depot) at New Boston, TX. She later met and married Walter Cornet. She
had one son, James.
Cecilia Elizabeth
- Born in Bloomdale, Wood Co, OH. She lived on the homeplace south of
Texarkana, AR with her husband Odis Moore. They had two daughters, Billie Merle and
Micky, and two sons, Donald Kurt and Odis Daniel. She raised angora rabbits for the
sale of their fur. She would also sell the rabbits as they multiplied.
